Ethiopian Nigella Sativa Seeds

Our black seed oil starts with Nigella sativa seeds grown in Ethiopia. The seeds are cleaned using the Sortex method before pressing.

Nigella sativa is also commonly known as black seed or black cumin.

Cold-Pressed Once

BioNatal’s production process uses a single pressing at temperatures of 77–98°F. After extraction, the oil undergoes at least 30 days of sedimentation before bottling.

Naturally Occurring Thymoquinone (TQ)

Thymoquinone is a naturally occurring compound in black seed oil. Its concentration varies naturally with each year’s seed harvest.

BioNatal’s Ethiopian black seed oil has historically tested at or above 3.5% TQ, with results reaching 4.64%. These figures describe historical test results; the exact TQ percentage varies between batches.

Unfiltered With Natural Sediment

Our oil is left unfiltered, so fine particles of black seed can settle at the bottom of the bottle. Natural seed sediment may account for up to 5% of the contents.

Shaking the bottle mixes the sediment back into the oil and can make its appearance darker.

    BioNatal Ethiopian Black Seed Oil

Excellent product. Among the top two brands I have tried. I accepted Islam in 1990 and discovered Black Seed Oil via Hadeeth. Science has only confirmed what I discovered through Islam. The TQ(thymoquinone) levels in this product is at a high level. I will purchase again and recommend to my family and friends.

    Ethiopian Black Seed Oil

I have not had different black seed oils to compare with except the one I started with and was using which was natures care solid at Fred Meyer. That product doesn’t even come close to this Ethiopian black seed oil. I really enjoy the taste and small pieces it has in the oil and the label what is in it and the potency. I really like this product so far I will purchase again . And it arrived in quality packaging and care.
